Alternative Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we recommend that you first contact HALIOTIS through our customer support channels so that we can try to resolve the matter quickly and amicably.

Under Portuguese Law no. 144/2015 of 8 September, consumers may resort to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies. These independent entities assist consumers and businesses in resolving disputes outside of court through mediation, conciliation, or arbitration.

The updated list of ADR bodies available in Portugal can be consulted at the Portuguese Consumer Portal:
https://www.consumidor.gov.pt/ral-mapa-e-lista-de-entidades

For cross-border disputes within the European Union, consumers may also contact their local European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net), which provides free information and assistance in disputes between consumers and traders established in different EU Member States, as well as Norway and Iceland:

HALIOTIS is not bound to any specific ADR entity by membership or legal obligation.

Without prejudice to the use of the above-mentioned entities, any dispute may also be submitted to the competent judicial courts in accordance with the applicable law.
