This Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made on the website shop.haliotis.pt.
HALIOTIS aims to provide a transparent and smooth purchasing process. However, in certain situations, an order may be cancelled under the conditions described below.
1. Order Cancellation Before Shipment
The customer may request the cancellation of an order before it has been shipped, provided that the order has not yet been processed for dispatch.
Cancellation requests must be sent by email to: shop@haliotis.pt
The customer must provide:
· order number;
· name used in the purchase;
· email address associated with the order.
The cancellation will only be considered valid once confirmed in writing by HALIOTIS.
Whenever the order has not yet been shipped, a refund of the amount paid will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
2. Unpaid Orders
Where applicable, if payment is not completed within the timeframe indicated during the checkout process, the order may be automatically cancelled without prior notice.
3. Cancellation After Shipment
Once the order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled directly.
In such cases, the customer may exercise the Right of Withdrawal, in accordance with the Terms & Conditions, by returning the products within the legally applicable period.
4. Cancellation of Digital Products
In the case of digital content purchases (downloads, digital files or online access), the customer acknowledges that once the download has started or access has been activated, the right of withdrawal may be lost, in accordance with applicable law.
5. Vouchers and Gift Cards
Vouchers and gift cards purchased on the Website may be subject to specific usage and validity conditions, which will be presented at the time of purchase.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, vouchers and gift cards are non-refundable once issued or used.
6. Cancellation by HALIOTIS
HALIOTIS reserves the right to cancel orders in exceptional circumstances, including:
· product out of stock;
· manifest pricing errors;
· inability to deliver to the address provided;
· suspected fraud or misuse;
· payment failure or inability to confirm payment;
· force majeure events.
In such cases, the customer will be informed and a refund will be issued where applicable.
