HALO A°R socks combine A°RGON™ aerogel insulation with three fabric layers to provide thermal protection with less buoyancy. They are thicker than the Hotfoot Pro, so choose them according to shoe size and ensure a snug fit. Check that your drysuit boots have enough room.
Inner Space Technology
With highly advanced thermal technology and one of the most insulating materials ever developed, the HALO A°R socks exceed expectations for a diving sock.
Using technology originally developed for space exploration and cryogenics, the HALO A°R socks feature the extreme insulation material A°RGON™ aerogel in a compression-resistant matrix.
The material’s exceptional insulating properties enable the HALO A°R socks to provide extreme thermal protection through a thinner, less buoyant combination of fabrics. With a wind- and water-repellent stretch outer layer, these socks can be worn comfortably all day.
The socks have three layers throughout and are therefore slightly thicker than the Hotfoot Pro. Choose your sock size according to your shoe size, rather than the size of your drysuit boots, as a snug fit is essential. In some cases, there may not be enough room in your drysuit boots for the HALO A°R socks. If you use an Argonaut drysuit, try removing the footbed to create a little more room. If you are purchasing a drysuit, we recommend considering boots one size larger, especially if your shoe size is at the upper end of a size.
