Fourth Element Drysuit undersuit HALO AºR Women

With highly advanced thermal technology and one of the most insulating materials ever developed, the HALO A°R exceeds expectations for a diving undersuit.

Using technology originally developed for space exploration and cryogenics, the HALO A°R features the extreme insulation material A°RGON™ in a compression-resistant matrix.

The material’s exceptional insulating properties enable the HALO A°R to provide outstanding thermal protection in a thinner, less buoyant diving undersuit. Its wind- and water-repellent stretch outer layer, comfortable thumb loops and foot stirrups make it a garment that can be worn comfortably all day.

Building on Fourth Element’s experience in thermal protection and body mapping, the HALO A°R was assessed using thermal imaging cameras, allowing the prototypes to be improved and modified.

The offset chest zip and baffles help minimise heat loss from the torso when the diver is in a horizontal position. The entire area from the shoulders to the knees is protected by a layer of A°RGON™, while other critical areas also benefit from enhanced insulation without compromising mobility or adding bulk.

Routing a valve through the undersuit is simple: just adjust the two-way zip in the fly. A zipped pocket provides a secure place to store keys, credit cards and cash.

The HALO A°R has a single zipped pocket on the right. A second zip inside the pocket provides access to the undersuit, making it easier to route or adjust a P-valve while wearing the undersuit.
