The Mares freediving lanyard helps enhance safety during freediving. This lanyard is designed to become an essential item for vertical apnea, even during training, thanks to its didactic function (maintaining the correct vertical position).

The 100 cm steel cable is coated with yellow plastic. At both ends, the cable connects to the wrist strap and carabiner through two sturdy swivel joints, designed to prevent twisting during descent and ascent.

This lanyard also features an additional quick-release carabiner attached to a ring on the wrist strap, allowing for extremely easy release and enabling use in other positions, for example around the waist during dives performed using the “underwater frog” technique.
