Surface-Only Signaling Device

The DiveAlert is a specially designed, small, and lightweight air horn that uses quick-connect/disconnect fittings to integrate with your power inflator and buoyancy compensator. Installation is simple and quick, taking only a moment.

The DiveAlert uses a small amount of air from your SCUBA tank to produce an extremely loud sound. A DiveAlert has been heard over a mile away from a diver in need. In low-visibility conditions, the DiveAlert can be a lifesaver.

 

No Modifications Required
The DiveAlert does not require any modifications to your equipment and does not interfere with its normal operation.

Easy-to-Use Design
Simply press the red button to produce an extremely loud sound. Do not point the DiveAlert at anyone, as it can cause hearing damage—it is very powerful.

How It Works
The DiveAlert uses chrome-plated brass couplings to attach to your power inflator. Pressing the activation button engages a chrome-plated brass valve, allowing a small amount of air to pass through a stainless steel diaphragm, producing an extremely loud sound from the injection-molded thermoplastic body.

Maintenance
After each use, the DiveAlert should be soaked in warm fresh water. This is especially important after using it in chlorinated pools or water with corrosive substances.

It is also highly recommended to expel any remaining water from the DiveAlert before storage. This can be done by pressurizing the device and pressing the button. (We recommend cupping your hand over the horn to muffle the sound, which is very loud.)
