Second Stage
• The pneumatically-balanced second stage provides smooth and easy breathing.
• The XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used – pressing the purge from the side delivers a lower flow rate, useful when more control is required, such as when inflating lift bags, etc.; pressing in the center activates the full purge effect, for example when clearing the regulator.
• The large Venturi lever features a soft-touch rubber grip, making it easier to locate and operate. The lever minimizes the ingress of grit, preventing friction and ensuring smooth operation.
• The easy-to-grip inhalation effort control knob allows the diver to maintain full control.
• The second stage is manufactured with active protection against infection, as all molded components include an additive that eliminates MRSA, protects against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also highly effective against viruses, mold, yeast and algae.
• The silicone exhaust valve enhances the breathing performance of the regulator.
• The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue.
• A patented heat exchanger surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipating the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in heat from the surrounding water.
